Happy New Year! Spring will be here before you know it and believe it or not we are beginning to prepare for the upcoming Spring Baseball Season. I am sending this email to let everyone know that registration is now open and will remain open until March 20th at mid-night.

Registration is done by accessing your account at

To assist parents in determining what little league age their player is here is the link to the Little League International age calculator;

 We are currently putting together some Winter Clinics for our T-Ball, Rookie, and Farm Level players with more information to follow.

With registration opening, I wanted to take an opportunity to share with everyone a couple of motions that were presented and passed at the last two board meetings;

First the previous rule requiring 11 and 12-year old’s who are playing in the Intermediate Division to also play in the Major Division is being reinstated.  This issue had been discussed at length in our board meetings last year and as a board we thought that the direction we took last year was not in the best interest of all of our players.  Our intention is to field teams at both the Major and Intermediate levels but if we cannot field at least 2 Intermediates teams for the season then we will ask that our 13-year old’s players to play Senior Division on our beautiful brand new 60/90 Field and have all of our 11/12-year old’s play at the Major Division.

For the Rookie Division this year, we will be using Pitching Machines to pitch to the batters. We believe that this will assist the batters with seeing more consistent pitches and help with the pace of play at this level. I would like to thank current Board Member and Twin Town Sponsor Rob Dawes for purchasing the pitching machines we will be using for the Spring Season.

I will be sending out additional emails in the near future regarding important dates and asking for Managers (If anyone knows they are interested feel free to email me) but wanted to get the above information out to everyone so that everyone was informed prior to registering. If you have any questions concerning registration feel free to email me or Andy Murphy, Player Agent, at [email protected] . On behalf of the entire Twin Town Little League Board we are looking forward to another successful season and look forward to seeing everyone at the ball park.
